Ice

The name comes first when we talk about controlling our sebaceous gland as ice helps in shrinking the pores and lessening the sebum production. It is also helpful in reducing swelling, inflammation and redness caused due to pimples. You can use crushed ice or ice cubes as per your convenience. Simply wrap ice in a cotton cloth and rub it gently all over your face. Now wait for a few minutes and repeat. Do this twice daily to see good results.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is abundant in Vitamin C and helps dry up pimples faster. But you need to use fresh lemon juice, not the bottled one to derive good results as the bottled juices have preservatives, which are not healthy. All you need to do is dip a cotton ball in freshly extracted lemon juice and apply it to the pimples every day. You can mix a tablespoon of honey to it as well if you feel a burning sensation. Wash it with lukewarm water after 30 minutes. Do it daily to see amazing results.

Tea Tree Oil

It is a great anti bacterial agent and helps fight various skin problems. It also assists in drying up whiteheads and blackheads. Just dab a small quantity to the required area and leave for a few minutes. Wash off and see results within days. You can also mix a few drops of oil to 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel for application. Remember to do a patch test first to check whether the oil suits your skin or not.

Garlic

The sulfur in garlic promotes quick healing of pimples. This is also good because of antiviral, antifungal, antioxidant and antiseptic properties. All you need to do is cut a fresh garlic clove into small pieces. Rub it to the desired area and wait for 10-15 minutes before washing if off with lukewarm water. Steam
